JANARDAN & GREER & TYNAN

Janardan

Name: Janardan
Title: The Lord
Standing At: Undecided
Bond: None
Age: Young - Equivalent to 12-14 human years
Gender: Male
Homeworld: Venial
Breed: Unknown
Alignment: Unknown
Rank: The Prince's protoge
Fur: Black
Build: Slender
Eyes: Lime Green
Appearance:

An adept shapeshifter, Janardan has no one true form, but he does have two that come very naturally to him. That of a wolf, and that of a human. Being young, Janardan is nothing more than a pup in wolf form, small, lithe, and jet black in hue, with bright green eyes that gleam out from the surrounding ebony of his face. He is markingless, but for a raven-shaped marking in white above his brow. The Prince has placed this here as His mark, and as a symbol for the fact that Janar is not the original Lord, but rather a remake, a reincarnation, if you will.

As a human, Janar is tall, even at this young age, and athletically built. Slender, elegant, and attractive. His skin is of the darkest pitch, and his hair equally black and smooth, kept short and managable. His eyes are the same brilliant green as in his wolf form, and seem to carry and eerie, unnatural quality to them. His raven-mark is still present, but located on his shoulders rather than his brow, to keep from drawing any unusual amount of attention to himself. Janar is lanky and long-limbed, making him a fast runner and quite agile.

Personality:

Janar is nothing if not arrogant, of his abilities and his status. He is essentially a spoiled brat and is not afraid to flaunt his position as the Prince's chosen protege. Although he is the second 'Lord' to be created by Him, he feels he is the better, with the first simply serving his purpose as a test subject. Janar is confident he will survive any jealous slaves the Prince is in possession of. But, much like the original Lord, Janar is not entirly faithful to the Prince, and he feels that once he is powerful enough he will simply demolish Him and take his place. The Prince, of course, realizes this, but for whatever reason has chosen to ignore Janar's ambitions.

Janar is a competent learner and quick to retain any information given to him. He desires nothing more than to become the most powerful, knowledgable, and cunning being of the known universe. Just a small thing, really, quite a modest goal. Janar has a tendency to look down upon everyone, no one is worthy of his presence, to look upon him or to hear him speak, so he constantly refuses the company of everyone but the Prince and who the Prince orders him to put up with. Janar cannot understand why He takes pleasure in the company of such ugly, vulgar minions. Lepers and mutilated things are not the proper company of the Lord, at least. Janar is very picky, and will only take the company of those he thinks are beautiful, in the true sense of the word. Although he does not respect them, he can, at least, take pleasure in the company of someone aesthetically pleasing.

Abilities: All Venial Powers, Telepathy, Empathy, Teleportation, Telekinesis, Mind-reading, Bestow Powers

Janar can transform objects into alluring or frightening things for short periods of time.

Size-changeing
Capable of growing up, or shrinking down, to ten times their normal size.

Dream Walk
Allows Janar to see into peoples dreams and gain knowledge of their desires and secrets. He may also alter dreams, extend dreams, and view them from the outside. Only works while victim is sleeping.

Gives Janar the ability to set nerves aflame at a single stroke on their claws. One touch can cause immeasurable pain. He has complete control over this power, and can tone it down or turn it off when desired.

Janar is unaffected by all magical attacks, and has an increased tolerance for pain.

Tynan

Name: Tynan
Meaning/Origin: Dark / Celtic
From: Mindspace
Sponsor: The Lord
Gender: Male
Species: Styx Beast
Color: Red Anti-Glow Green Marked Grey
Occupation: The Prince's Healer
Services extended to The Lord without permission from the Prince
Services also occasionally (although rarely) extended to favored servants and companions living in the Prince's court
Personality:

Tynan is, as his name implies, a dark creature. Not necessarily mean or evil, but very dark. He can easily be described as morbid, and not only in the sense that he has an uncanny fascination and knowledge of anything relating to death, destruction, and disease. He's also very pessimistic, and will often take any situation and turn it into something worse than it already is...but he likes it. He enjoys wallowing in a pool of misery and has become so addicted to desperation that he looks for ways to get himself into situations he won't be able to get himself out of. He doubts everything, especially that which he excels in, and is unhappy with anything short of perfection.

Tynan is also incredibly reserved, he refuses to share himself with others and dislikes extended companionship with anyone. He does not enjoy talking about anything that is not important, and can become befuddled when conversation turns personal. He's not terribly fond of most people either, especially women. One can even go so far as to calling him a misogynist. He does enjoy being polite and gentlemanly toward everyone (especially females, even though he doesn't like them), and puts on a facade of chivalry and courtesy. Tynan will also offer his services to anyone who wishes them (not in the matter of healing, as he is under the direct control of the Prince and the Lord), and enjoys martyring himself for others. Especially if it means he'll get praise. And, if he doesn't, it only adds to the melancholy he has become so addicted to.

Apart from enjoying his own misery, Tynan quite often enjoys that of others as well. He loves to listen to others scream and rant. The angrier the better...so long as it's not him who's getting yelled at. Despite his reserved outlook, Tynan is emotionally unstable and rather melancholy. He refuses to let his emotions be shown to others, though, and will recoil into privacy when he feels his masks are slipping. Also, Tynan's emotional reservation has caused him other problems. He's lonely, but does not desire friends, he's burdened, but has no one to share his burdens with, and he feels isolated from society. Hate springs from his isolation, and he has become apathetic toward others. He also severely lacks one very important thing he needs to thrive.

Physical affection. Innocent physical affection, as anything else makes him extremely uncomfortable and 'dirtied'. Tynan revels in everything from a simple touch on the shoulder to full blown cuddling. He needs it, but he refuses to allow himself such things with anyone he does not trust, and Tynan trusts very few people.

Abilities: Telepathy, Verbal Speech, Necromancy, Physical Deterioration (causes others to slowly become ill/weakened/deteriorate by touch), Shadow Manipulation, Control Disease, Carry Disease Unaffected (including contagious disease, which others can catch from him), Kill Plant Life (through touch, breath, etc), Heal Disease (he contracts disease in turn, such healing includes tumors, cancer, etc), Cause Darkness, Necropotence, Mirror-Portals (can see into other worlds using the floating things above his back), Portal Teleportation

Greer

Name: Greer
Meaning/Origin: Watchful, Guardian / Celtic
From: The Twisted Fate
Master: The Lord
Age: Young Adult
Gender: Male
Species: Tralvisk
Height: 3'3" at shoulder
Main Color: Grey
Horn Color: Black
Pattern: Pointed
Pattern Color: Red
Rank: The Lord's Guard beast
Personality:

Greer may not be the most intelligent of beasts, but he's certainly very good at deciding who's dangerous and who's not. Quite frankly, it's everyone, including The Lord himself. He protects The Lord fiercely, and will even bristle at the presence of The Prince or any of The Lord's appointed servants. He's quick to react as well, and will often attack without thinking or by the command of his master. He's incredibly wary and takes no chances when it comes to his master's safety. He is a noble creature, if not particularly smart or cunning, and would gladly give his life to save The Lord (or anyone the lord commands him to, for that matter). Although he's very much into self-preservation, obedience and fealty to his master is much more important. Especially when he gets praise in return.

Greer is also uncommonly curious and attentive. Although he sticks to his master's side at all times, his mind will often wander to the other words of people. He can't understand them very well, but he's become adept at mimicking them, in much the same manor as a parrot, and will gleefully bark what words he 'learned' to his master whenever the Lord bids him to do so. He enjoys talking, even if he doesn't understand much of what he's saying. He likes the sound of it. Perhaps some of the Lord's own vanity has rubbed off on him.

Abilities: Empathic Telepathy. Magic Immunity. Verbal Speech (nonsentient).
