| Appearance |
Elizabeth stands at an average 5'4", not overly short, nor really any bit tall. Her build is both slender and wiry; athletic, that gives off the impression of some sleek, feline predator. Her movements are smooth, balanced, and calculated, so there is no doubt that she is both a very fit and very conscience woman. Her features are both smooth and sharp. Her eyes are slightly slanted, eyebrows finely curved above them, and her nose long and pointed, although not particularly sharp. She might look beautiful, might, if it weren't for the ever present scowl on her pale lips.
Elizabeth's skin is oddly pale, not milky white, or china-doll pale, but pale. An ugly pale, all over, marred only by the small brown dot located above her left eyebrow. She is prone to heavy burns and skin peeling, and cannot for the life of her get a tan. These are not the only problems with her skin though. Elizabeth sports two scars. One, long and smooth-cut, is located along the length of her shoulder and trailing down to her collar bone. The second, and last, his a crude, mangled sort of mark on her left breast that looks abstractly like a dragon.
Elizabeth's hair is cut just below the shoulder, long and silky in appearance, except for the ends which are horribly unkept, usually a bit tangled, and riddled with split ends. It is cinnamon in color, a sort of dull red-brown, and she has begun to grow out her bangs. Now they are a few inches shorter than the actual length of her hair but not really 'bangs' anymore. They're often getting into her eyes, but she refuses to have them cut. Elizabeth's eyes, on the other hand, may very well be her best feature. They are blue-green, and unlike most people with that color of eyes, hers are not dull, but rather fiery and wild.

| Personality |
Elizabeth is both a thinker and a do-er. She likes to take action quickly, having little patience for sitting around and twiddling thumbs. But she does like to know what she's doing, and, therefore, likes some bit of a plan...if a last second one. She doesn’t usually over obsess with anything unless she feels she absolutely must (or if something has stricken a particular fancy in her), and she's not often fanatical, but she will get the job done, whatever it is, no matter the costs. For that reason she is a very reliable person.
Elizabeth often comes off as cynical and indifferent, or maybe just plain rude. She likes to keep her distance from people and do her own thing without interruption. If she comes across someone she begins to have an interest in she will do the exact opposite of her usual behavior. She will rush headlong into a relationship with them and not let go until she's gotten what she wants. Although she doesn’t have a jealous bone in her body, she is incredibly possessive and protective over those that she deems important to her.
Competition is a big part of Elizabeth's life. It's what makes her push forward and complete the job. Things that are too simple annoy her. Things that are too hard frustrate her. Despite that, though, she is willing to accept any challenge given to her, and she will go through and complete it...on her own time. She doesn’t like to lose, and makes a particular habit of bragging her little, red-haired head off when she wins.
One should not trust Elizabeth. Especially not her word. She will more often than not go back on it, even when she gives it freely. She is a liar and a cheat, but the one thing she is honest about is herself. Ask her a question, and if she answers there's a 99.9% chance that it is the truth. Maybe not the whole truth, but the truth. Elizabeth also has a bit of a mean streak, and is not against hurting someone's feelings.
Elizabeth is eerily quiet, definately not the life of the party unless she's in the right mood to be. She's the reserved one that sits at the back of the room and observes until just the right moment comes along. She listens, and she listens well, and when she speaks its most likely not going to be something trivial and unintelligent. Unless she's drunk of course, but that's happens to everyone.
Elizabeth's full of odd things that one would never picture her being tangled up with. She has a rather large affection for scotch. One would call it her anti-drug if it weren't for the fact that it was alcohol. She does dabble in the occasional smoke, but has for the most part given the habit up. Elizabeth's main weakness is, not Scotch, but Lemon Tarts. To her there is nothing better than a flaky pastry filled with lemony flavored cream. Nothing. And she will argue that case to the death.
It comes as no surprise to anyone that Elizabeth is conceited. She is not in love with herself per say, but she is incredibly self-dependent and cock-sure of anything and everything she does. She's unafraid to take risk, calculated or otherwise, and would appear to have little interest in self-preservation when there's a heartier goal to consider. She will not, under any circumstances, risk her life or her health upon the request of someone else unless they're willing to pay a mighty fee for her services.
Elizabeth is most at ease when she's drunk or with people she doesn’t know, and who don't know anything at all about her. These situations are the few times Elizabeth will actually sit back and let her old, playful self come through. She'll be crude, rambunctious, and ready to take on whatever dare or challenge, no matter how stupid, which comes her way. She laughs easily and just let's loose. Although she doesn’t become a 'nice' person, she certainly becomes a more interesting one to hang around with.
Just the opposite of when she's most at ease, Elizabeth is most ill at ease when she's around people who know her well, and who she holds some affection for. Although she is not intimidated in the least by her grandfather, she is rather nervous around people she actual finds she must impress.
When around people she is attached to or feels affection towards, she can become incredibly bossy and flippant. This is her way of showing dominance over them, something that she feels she must do. Elizabeth has yet to meet anyone she considers a full equal that she's felt affection for.
Patience for dealing with people is something Elizabeth severely lacks. Especially when she's dealing with subordinates and the like. She does not like to wait for things to be done or given to her. Unfortunately, Elizabeth also has a temper to match her impatience, and any disobedience and/or lateness will be faced with one angry woman! Elizabeth is not against yelling, hurting, or downright punishing anyone that crosses her the wrong way...and she certainly has the power and title to do it!
Elizabeth does not actually enjoy her life of piracy. She's much more interested in taking on a 'noble' job, such as working for the navy. But, being a woman, this is impossible. Her love of the sea does not permit her to stave off from a water-going job, so she was "forced" (or so she tries to make herself believe) into piracy. She does make an excellent pirate, for a woman, and can keep up with even the rowdiest of her crew. |
