NEXUS CHRONICLES

The Demon is a formidable looking equine, reaching six feet at the whithers, and sported a fairly natural build for his species. He sports a silky, shimmering white coat, and a mane and tail of the deepest shades of red. His eyes are liquid gold, and his horn long, spiraled, and ivory in hue. He is, all together, the most similar in appearance to that of the natural unicorn. The Demon sports but two notable differences; arms.

These arms are not in place instead of forelegs, but rather...along with, forelegs. They pretrude from right before his first set of legs, long and dangling like that of some emaciated beast. They end in long-fingered hands, tipped in claws and surrounded by a light, reddish fetlock that trails along the elbow. Complete with thumb, they are perfectly capable of grasping, holding, and working objects.

The Demon is silent and stoic, often keeping to himself in a constant state of hermit-like habitat. When approached, he rarely speaks, instead going out of his way to avoid conversation with others. He is by no means snappish, but his patience can quickly wear, and he has no qualms in striking out against others when they will not leave him alone. The Demon is very protective of himself, and he will toss away any attempts at politeness and courtesy if one is trying to pry into him.

The Demon, as his full title suggests, is incredibly knowledgeable. Perhaps not so intelligent as one might guess, he is not very good at applying his knowledge, but he does seem to have an uncanny way of knowing just about everything.

The Demon is cursed with knowledge. Yes, knowledge. He knows everything. Every action that has, is, and is going to occur. Every feeling of pain, pleasure, and emotion. Every thought that passes through a being's mind. The past, present, and future of every person, object, and concept. Life is tedious, and a complex pandemonium of time that easily confuses his mind. Time becomes a hard concept to grasp when one knows everything that has happened, and everything that is to come, until the very end of existence.

In addition to his curse of knowledge, is The Demon's curse of silence. He is not mute, quite the contrary, he can speak both verbally and telepathically, but he is incapable of passing his knowledge onto others. He cannot say or emit anything to anyone that they do not already know. For that reason, no one knows his true name.

Psionic abilities do not effect him, and his mind cannot be read by any level of psychic power.

The Demon is also capable of shapeshifting. He can take the form of a human, and a 'normal' unicorn (he can 'remove' his extra arms).
