Personality

Small but mighty, Mauryath sports a quick-temper and the compunction to back it up. She's a fierce little dragon who won't stand for belittlement or disrespect, quick to lash out and prove her worth. She's an excellent fighter and works hard to keep herself in top form, ready to fly into battle at the smallest notice. She isn't the brightest hatchling from her clutch, though, and doesn't have a mind for strategy or subterfuge. Hit hard, hit fast, that's her motto, and as long as she's pointed in the right direction she'll get the job done. She's game and hard as tack, unwilling to back down even when there's no chance at victory.

Off the battlefield, Mauryath remains a testy, temperamental dragon who doesn't care for busy-bodies skulking about her business. She's prideful and social in-so-much as she loves having an audience to boast to. She's prone to raucous laughter and tends to be animated when she's around friends, flapping wings and swiping her tail as she regales tales of her exploits. She shines under attention.

The dragon’s hide is supposed to be a stunning, chromatic shade of green with just that hint of sheen. But for some reason Shy thought it would be amusing to add a layer of tarnish that builds over time- knocking against hard surfaces can also cause the odd patina markings, which require frequent and diligent shining. (A perfect activity for a staff sergeant!)
