Personality
Shida is used to roaming, having grown up in a caravan of traders, and the dragon-rider's lifestyle of sedition within a weyr is somewhat taxing on her adventurous spirit. When Peluth showed the first sign of having a good mind for searching candidates, Shida leapt at the opportunity to join Shigan's search riders. She is cool and collected, keeping a calm countenance in even the most chaotic situations. She finds the frenzy of panic (in others) bemusing and enjoys de-escalating situations with wry humor and a level-head. Shida has a habit of making quips and puns, even in dire circumstances where tension is bleak.Shida feels strongly about repaying debts and kindness, and will go out of her way to help her peers any way she can. She never forgets a good deed! Her memory is excellent and she picks up on small quirks and hints, allowing her to suss out what a person most desires (or needs) without outright asking about it.
