Personality
Tahir is a skittish fellow, nervous of other people and prone to keeping to himself. He has a reputation for being odd (even unnerving!), particularly among his fellow weyrbrats. He's a scuttling, skulking fellow that keeps to the shadows and likes to stay away from the crowd. He has a great deal of social anxiety which presents as debilitating introversion. He lies easily and often, mostly to keep himself safe, and rarely ventures from his comfort zone in the sidelines.Given the opportunity, he is a loyal and affectionate friend. He enjoys having direction in his life and would be a lifelong ally to anyone who helps him get out of his shell. He repays kindness tenfold and doesn't mind getting dirty to help someone out. He's a hard worker, quite intelligent, and enjoys learning new things. His curiosity is boundless, tampered only by his fear of social settings. Tahir listens well to others and is a natural born follower. He flourishes when he's following orders and knows precisely what he's meant to be doing.
Background
A weyrbrat, born to green-rider parents who remain active at Shigan weyr. Tahir has some interaction with his parents, but he was primarily raised by a foster mother and has worked as a drudge for Shigan his whole life.Asubuhi is Tahir's foster sister, and perhaps the closest (if not only) friend he has in the weyr.
Having grown up around dragons he has plenty knowledge and experience in their care. He attends candidate lessons at Shigan, but he's always managed to worm his way out of actually standing for a clutch. He's terrified that he'll be given duties beyond his abilities.
