The defore continue to be fairly 'neutral' in the dealings between the amuni and euclide. Instead, they've become the most adapted to their new come and experts regarding native flora, fauna, and technology. Easily the most 'advanced' of the three species. This, accompanied with their ability to do trade and commerce with both euclide and amuni has given them a great advantage in moving up high in the new new world.
Defore affinities represent aspects of the natural, physical world, and are generally related to nature and ecology.
[ defore omega ]
Neophytes are the lowest ranking, non-magical members of defore society. They are looked down upon by higher ranking members, but not generally treated poorly. It is expected that neophytes will better themselves and earn a higher ranks.

[ defore gamma ]
Acolytes are the most numerous defore rank, the 'average' citizen, and while they are not terribly powerful, they are often the hardest working of the lot. While it's important to a defore to continue to better themselves in society, many are content with the rank of acolyte. To become a warlock is a great achievement. Warlocks are primarily tasked with protecting and maintaining the environment where they make their home. Their strength makes it easier for them to clear away dangers.

Mages are the top dogs among the defore, very powerful and quite the prestigious rank to obtain! Mages generally spend their time researching, crafting, and inventing. They are absolutely required to protect their homes as well, but primarily they watch out for the lower ranking defore and help them on their journeys to achieve a greater rank.
Not all mages help out of altruism, of course, some may take apprentices for the purpose of cheap labor, or even more nefarious needs. Most neophytes are grateful enough to have someone teach them, that they are willing to do unsavory work.
+Mages can summon 3 spirits in a 24/hr period, which last for up to 45mins each.
+ Mages can learn any level 3 magic.
+ Mages have 40 LIFE and 40 SPIRIT.

Sorcerers very rarely take apprentices of their own, but if they do, those apprentices are treated with awe and respect by society.
Few sorcerers care to leave their natural homes and live in cities or settlements.
