From a young age, Bielyr has proven herself to be fiercely independent and curious. She rarely concerns herself with the opinions of others and often finds herself on the outskirts of social groups. Which is fine, really. Gives her more space to pursue her true passions: treasure-hunting and murdon history. She was meant to take a career in technology or engineering, but Bielyr adores collecting Zar relics from before the planet was brought to ruin. Oh, she knows enough to keep her ship in decent repairs and is able to take on the odd job here and there, but her passion is in the past. She's young, as far as murdon go, born after the great disasters, and she wants to know what her home was like before the poisonous gasses took over.
Adventure runs through her veins. She alternates between searching wreckage on the planets surface and taking to space to explore Zar's older colonies. Bielyr is happiest roaming Zar itself, but she'll go wherever she must to collect ancient murdon artifacts. She doesn't dislike space, but she has little interest visiting planets or dimensions that lack the potential to produce murdon treasures for her. Her focus is intense and unwavering. She'll do whatever she must to unearth the information she needs - including dealing illegal artifacts in order to pay for murdon ones. Bielyr is careful to keep a low profile and rarely deals with the same people more than once. The few long-term contacts she has are extensively vetted- and she makes certain she has the upper hand in their dealings.
Bielyr has a lively and genial disposition when her audience lets her geek out about history and murdon culture, but otherwise she conducts herself with careful reserve. She's not anti-social or introverted, she simply doesn't trust anyone enough to get close to them.
Bielyr became fascinated with her planet's cultural history and discovering ancient artifacts. She was determined to become a treasure-hunter at a young age, but was generally dissuaded by her elders. It's better to look to the future and forgot the unsalvageable parts of the past. Bielyr disagreed.
Upon maturity, Bielyr acquired a mentorship under an engineer specializing in repair and restoration of outdated ship models. She learned a great deal from them and carefully sequestered her money away until she earned enough to purchase her own ship. It was a junker, but cheap, and Bielyr had all the skills and materials to fix it up herself.
Bielyr alternates between searching the ruins of Zar itself for old treasures and travelling to Zar's colonies and experiments to unearth pieces of the murdon's past. She makes her living trading goods - both legal and not-so-legal - between the planets she visits, occasionally pawning less valuable (or non-murdon) artifacts.
Bielyr likes to call herself a treasure-seeker or adventurer, but she's equal parts a smuggler. Careful not to make a name for herself, she only has a few close contacts she deals with on a consistent basis.
She had a partner once, but they betrayed her - more interested in profit than discovering mysteries. Having nearly faced imprisonment, she's hesitant to trust anyone to that point again. The possibility of forming a permanent mind-link to a dragon feels like an answer to her loneliness without the threat of back-stabbing.

A frequent trade partner. Bielyr doesn't necessarily trust Jaseu, but if there are any good murdon artifacts to be found, Jaseu will find a way to get his paws on them.
