Personality

Dikeledi says he was born to be a teacher and he's worked hard all his life to hone those skills. He's patient, often bemused by antics, and keeps a level head in social interactions. He has a great deal of empathy and is often able to see problems from other points of view with relative ease, which helps him with struggling students. Nothing makes him happier than passing down knowledge and watching the next generation flourish. He has a soft spot for class clowns and distractible pupils, and believes there's nothing quite as rewarding as helping those kids find their way and do their best. His favorite students are rarely the academically talented ones.

Outside of his socially busy occupation as teacher, Dikeledi is a private, contemplative man. Relaxation is a long, quiet evening watching the tides and reflecting on the day's events. He keeps his thoughts to himself until he's certain he's brainstormed the best strategy, always cautious not to hurt feelings. His thoughtful nature makes him a good mediator for disputes, though he's loath to dole out reprimands.
