Personality

While "queen" is simply a term meant to represent the caste of fertile myrmex, Gleam fits the term to a t. She's regal and stately, and cares very deeply for her species and the future of her colony. She finds speaking to non-myrmex awkward and uncomfortable, but won't refuse a conversation, especially if it's pertinent to her species and well-being. Given the choice, she prefers to stick to the caves and allow her bond mates to deal with visitors, but she knows her presence is important as an ambassador for the myrmex.

She has a fascination for shiny baubles and things that glow, and has started amassing a tiny collection in her cavern. Gleam encourages her bonds to ensconce with anything they think might suit her fancy, as she herself rarely leaves the subterranean bio deck.

With strangers, she can appear short-tempered and blunt, but she's not used to conversing without the smooth mind-link of a colony. She means well, but has trouble expressing the emotions behind her statements.
