Appearance
In his human form, Ira is tall and slender, a very elegant and formidable looking figure. His skin is pitch black, resembling that of his orca form very closely. His carries himself regally, his eyes upward cast and his chin held proudly. In addition to his dark skin, Ira has very pale hair, silver in hue, that travels past his shoulders to reach mid-way down his back. Said hair is often held back in a loose ponytail. His eyes are delicately almond-shaped, and very hard. They are an unusual dark green-gold in color, which carries on to his orca form as his only feature that distinguishes him apart from any other feral killer whale.
Personality
Ira is by no means a...friendly, person, but he's not bad company if one knows how to get on his good-side. He carries himself with an air of indifference, and is very much a narcissist when it comes to comparing himself with others. He believes very few people are worth his time and effort, but will not go out of his way to avoid these 'unqualified' individuals. He simply ignores them. Ira is ill-tempered and impatient, and can become rather angry if people persist in taking up his time. Which isn't a terribly good thing, considering the man's size.
Ira is a deep-seated intellectual. He loves to read, and has a deep dedication to poetry. Not modern poetry, but old, classical poetry. He can't stand modern poets and writers. Much of his time is taken up with memorizing various snippets from Byron and Poe. He knows Beowulf off by heart, and can recite Shakespeare's sonnets at the drop of a hat. He refuses to actually write poetry, though, believing his lack of imagination and his 'modernized' skills would sully the poetic world. He has rather romanticized thoughts concerning poetry.
