Personality
Pragmatic but often paranoid, Johnathan is constantly worried about Tabanthpsy's presence aboard the Refugium. They've come a long way since their original home on a tiny science vessel and Tabanthpsy has mellowed out quite a bit, but he's still a xenomorph at heart and carries violence in his blood. Johnathan is terrified something will happen and the two of them will be kicked off the Refugium to fend for themselves. Things are better, though, and Johnathan finds he has much more energy to simply relax and enjoy himself. He can't plan for a future he can't predict and he'd like to revel in comfort while he's able to.Johnathan is highly intelligent and motivated when it comes to his job. The Refugium's labs are spectacular for a senior xenobiologist to work in and for the first time he's happy spending as much time in the labs as he is in his own quarters with a good book.
Quiet and quite passive in social situations, Johnthan isn't necessarily introverted but he's happy to get lost in the crowd. Johnathan hates making a scene and can be easily cowed into compliance.
