Personality

Once a shy and frightened young man, Kiryun has matured into a weathered adult with experience under his belt. He remains gunshy and untrusting from events of his past and things he was tricked into doing, and in his adulthood he's torn between wanting a life of quiet isolation or redeeming himself for past sins. Kiryun is empathetic but not forgiving. He's faced too many betrayals to continue to accept them. While he's always willing to help others with tasks that need doing or monsters that need slaying, he's hesitant to make permanent social bonds with anyone. Kiryun sticks close to Oberon and is highly protective of the dragon. It doesn't matter than Oberon is twenty times his size and able to breathe deadly spouts of hail. He's Kiryun's baby and will remain as such.
