Personality
While no one would ever consider the hyper-polite species of hanar rude, Kylryn often toes the line! Blame their youthfulness. Kylryn can be brash and often lets her bravery get the best of her. She won't back down from a challenge even if it's in her best interest to do so. She's not afraid of getting into scrapes or mishaps, has a memory like an iron fist, and always holds a grudge.Nothing matters more to her than her friends and crewmates. She feels the proper crew of Sails Between Stars are a family, and she'd stand up for them through any hardships. While she's not always easy to get along with, her loyalty to her friends is unquestionable. She has difficulty letting go of attachments and can sometimes be overprotective.
Kylryn is always honest and truly tries to do good with her life. She's excited about being in a new universe and is eager to explore.
History
Raised on a merchant vessel, Kylryn had an unusual upbringing for a hanar. Her parents weren't dedicated to the Enkindlers so Kylryn was raised without religion or a connection to the hanar homeworld. She spent nearly all her life onboard space faring vessels, and learned to see a ship's crew as her family.Her parents' ship was attached by raiding batarian pirates and ransacked. Most of the crew were killed, and the batarians believe Kylryn herself had also been killed. She was rescued by a passing diplomatic vessel. Kylryn eventually made a full recovery, barring a few scars, but she holds a deep hatred toward batarians and a great deal of survivors guilt.
Abilities
BIO-LUMINESCENT SPEECHHanar native language is "spoken" via bio-luminescence presented over the carapace. The light spectrum is beyond most humanoid eyes and requires surgical alteration or physical aids for non-hanar to fully comprehend.
VERBAL SPEECHThe ability to speak vocally. Hanar have wispy, ethereal voices. Hanar use impersonal third-person pronouns to refer to themselves. They only use the personal "I" for dear friends and family.
CONTRA-GRAVITIC LEVITATIONSpemomac has a device embedded in their skin that allows them to support their own weight outside of water.
VENOMHanar tentacles can secrete a natural toxin when the individual is threatened.
