Personality

Matias runs a small teashop in a busy sector of Mwari Station which he proclaims to be a quiet getaway for the weary soul. He loves taking care of people and believes most burdens can be lessened by a hot drink and a patient listener. He's nonjudgmental and has a quiet, kindly countenance. He's optimistic and tries to see everything in a positive light, but has empathy enough to let people mourn or be angry when they need it. Sometimes the worst thing to do is offer cheerful platitudes.

Matias can't abide by dishonesty and nothing irks  him as much as liars do. He's sensitive in the face of subterfuge, one of the few things that can bring out a temper in this ordinarily serene dragon. He'd rather someone tell him point blank that they don't want to talk or divulge information than be fed a series of falsehoods.

Otherwise, Matias is quiet and clever, carefully observing his patrons and offering them wise words of advice as he sees fit to give them. He can be a little spacey at times and gets lost in his own daydreams. He also has a terrible memory for faces and has trouble recognizing customers unless they're frequent visitors. He hopes no one takes this personally but understands if they do.
