Personality

Conniving con-artist, cunning, conceited, every noul for himself, devoted to his brother, power-hungry, cold

Mirsad believes in the survival of the wittiest. He and his brother, Naiche, are con artists of the worst order and prey on unsuspecting Homewood noulicorns. Mirsad has no respect for those soft Homewooders and believes whole-heartedly they deserve to be taken advantage of. He respects his mother and his sister, but the only individual he truly cares about is his twin. The by-product of being raised by a distant mother who instilled selfish values in him.

Mirsad is not a nice guy. He can play the charmer when it's required of him, but he lacks empathy and only sees other noulicorns as targets. What can he get out of them? He focuses on their weak points and tries to squeeze out every drop of usefulness he can find before dumping them for greener pastures.

He has a strange relationship with Vykeli. Unlike his black horn mother, he feels an instinctual need to heal the planet, but he has no interest in working around Homewood. His focus is on the barrens, the deepest, driest parts of the world. Why tiptoe the edges of a forest when there's an ocean of desert that needs to be fixed?

Background

Mirsad was born and raised in the barrens to an exiled black horn mother.

The twins respect their mother, but her distant and unaffectionate parenting techniques have taught the brothers they’re better off relying on each other than their mum. They don’t know anything but Shappa, so it’s assumed that most mothers are like this.

Mirsad has no ill-feelings toward Shappa, he respects that she taught them how to survive in the barrens and be self-reliant, but he’s not tied down to her paradigms either. He respects his sister, but “love” might be a strong word with this family. While the twins definitely tried conning her as youngsters, they’ll know better than to pull that stuff on Muhjah as adults.
