Personality

Ludovicianusz lacks any particular moral leaning but is instead driven by the need for chaos. He has no loyalty to any person or cause, merely an insatiable lust for absolute mayhem. He destroys to feed but is apathetic about destruction itself. There are many forms of chaos, after-all, and destruction is only one aspect. Ludov is highly intelligent, cunning to dangerous levels even in his youth, and he loves using people as playthings. He's a conniving schemer, always willing to partake in subterfuge for his own amusement. Despite his physical strength, Ludov would rather whisper sweetly in the ears of peers and turn them against one another. Set fire to a population by spreading rumors and revealing secrets. As he matures he'll no doubt become an arbiter of wars and bloodshed.

On the other hand, what chaos can Ludov cause that compares to the incomprehensible pandemonium of life itself? Ludov wants to preserve the populations of his home for the simple desire to continue its mayhem. How boring life would be if all that remained was ash and blood? He wants to keep the scales of balance in flux, never steady, never center, but not weighted oppressively on one side or the other either. He's an instigator, a schemer, and a follower of his own whimsy. Ludov is as likely to raze a village as he is to build one. He's fully capable of reasoning the consequences of his actions but rarely cares what the outcome will be. He's here to obliterate the status quo on the daily and leave the world in permanent disarray.

Violence and destruction may sustain him, but it's so much more fun to convince others to do the messy work for him.

BREATH WEAPON (ACID, FIRE)

DESTRUCTION FEEDING

Rather than simply consuming meat, these hydras can destroy to feed. The most delicious and sustaining meals are the energies released when living things die, which they can absorb simply by being present. They can also consume any energies released when they enact their destructive powers.

DESTRUCTION POWERS

These hydras are an incarnation of chaos and destruction. Destroying anything around them comes with natural ease, not from brute strength but from force of will.

INSUBSTANTIAL FORM

Although they appear solid, these hydras can will themselves into an insubstantial shape. Like a thick cloud of smoke or fog, they can barely be touched.

NATURAL SPELLCASTER

After reaching their first decade in age, the hydra begins to develop magical ability. The older they get, the more powerful they can become.

SHAPESHIFTING

The ability to shapeshift into any other form, without limitation. (This could indeed mean shifting even more heads than their base 18, but they would not count as natural.)
