Personality

Sam is a largely pessimistic and anti-social individual who spends most of his time trekking across the vast worlds and dimensions of the Nexus, utterly alone and quite content to be so. Crowds are people are far more frightening than the vast emptiness of space. Sam is terrified of forming personal connections and commitments. Beyond this, and his general dislike of socializing, he abhors physical touch to the point of phobia. He has difficulty expressing his emotions and is reserved in both conversation and expression. It takes him a great deal of time to be comfortable enough to trust another person. He values individuals for their actions, rather than their words or ideals.

Sam holds no particular loyalty to any organization or location, although the Refugium and Mwari station have become frequent stop-overs between deliveries. While he has no qualms helping the Refugium with their goal regarding endangered species, he doesn't hold out much hope for the future. He has no compunctions against voicing his opinion on the matter, either. If he's ask, he'll tell the blunt, honest truth. It's easier to be gruff and voice his dislike for something than it is to accept gratitude or kindness.

Abilities

LOAD BEARING

Sam possesses incredible strength and endurance, and can carry cargo loads greatly in excess of his own body weight. He cannot fly under such a load, however. He can only walk.

THE GREAT TELE-PORTER

Sam cannot teleport in the traditional sense, but if he is loaded with cargo and starts walking he will, eventually, reach his destination. It doesn't matter if there are oceans, planets, galaxies, or alternate dimensions between his origin and his goal -- he'll get there.

NEXUS AWARENESS

As all other Winter Gather dragons, he is aware of all other Nexus agencies that exist and can reach them as part of his nature as The Great Tele-Porter.
