Personality

A childhood spent compromising her own morals for the greater good of a dying world, Vvinu has grown into a cynical woman with no taste for grey morality. Despite knowing how much her powers are needed, she harbors resentment not only for her old sponsor, but or her defacto 'Grandfather' for placing her with that despicable pirate crew. It was work that needed to be done, but she continuously questions "why her?" Vvinu accepts a dog-eat-dog world and expects to be used by the people who try to get close to her. She won't turn away anyone who requests her help, but she doesn't bother with platitudes or friendliness.

As adults, though the hybrid's plumage is forever ablaze, they can shroud their entire body in flame as well if they will it.

FLAME PYRE REINCARNATION

When old age arrives and it is time for the hybrid to die, they can build a pyre and burn themselves upon it. They will then rise again from their own ashes, once more a newborn kitten. They will be self-aware and remember things like their name and how to speak, but it will take them a while to recall their whole vocabulary, nor will they have any memories of their past life/lives. They will remember things as they grow up again.

If they were previously bonded, their bond still lives, and is around when the hybrid reincarnates, the new kitten will instinctively re-bond, but they will not actually remember anything about their bonded until they age and recover the appropriate memories.

The hybrid cannot reincarnate from being killed unless they are slain upon something suitable as a funeral pyre.
