Personality

Completely unflappable and unerring polite in all situations, Njeri carries themself in the regal, diplomatic manner befitting the offspring of counsel members. Always genial and courteous to others, especially in the face of adversity. Njeri has great ambitions for reaching ascension and joining the council, they wish to see Vykeli become as green and great as it possibly could. They're not above schmoozing and bribing their way into power. Some of Njeri's ideas might be considered eccentric, as they have a great desire to branch out from Homewood, to dive into the secrets of the ruins, and to learn as much about the Others as possible.

Njeri is nothing if not a hedonist. They love good food, fermented beverages, and beautiful company. Njeri loves to be surrounded by loves ones and simply cannot be tied down to one partner. They have a heart bursting with love. They are affectionate and doting, always willing to find gifts for their suitors... and reveling when gifts are given to them in return.

Njeri is not a particularly strong noulicorn, physically or in relation to their magic, but they are intelligent, well-learned, and cunning. Njeri prefers to leave the "dirty work" and hard, physical labor to other noulicorns. For ample compensation, of course.

History

Njeri was born the child of two ascended noulicorns, both highly regarded members of council. Their brother, Iselexon, was a litter mate. At an early age Njeri proved to be overly adventurous, always wandering off and getting into trouble. Iselexon took it upon himself to be Njeri's keeper, following after them to keep them safe.

Njeri adored their older sister, Jelt, who quickly ascended herself and joined the council.

Jelt was later murdered by black horns and exiles, while trekking out to meet them as part of a diplomatic mission. She went against the wishes of council members, and her death was considered a warning to others.

When the murdon of Nidus Viridis returned to Vykeli to collect noulicorn for their purposes of fixing Zar, Njeri was one of the few who volunteered to leave their home. While Njeri doesn't feel strong about fulfilling a purpose, they are intrigued by the wider world of the Nexus and eager to expierence more. Njeri acts as something of a leader and liason for the noulicorn on Zar.
