Being a servant of Cassimir, the Lord of Destruction, Zhicius has been tattooed with the god's brands. On his back is a thick, black design, like a wheel edged in razors. In the center of the 'wheel' are two stylized dragons, wrapped around each other in battle. And, customary to the lord of the destruction, beneath the bent heads of the dueling beasts is the image of a withering black rose. Needless to say, the mark takes up the majority of his back. Zhicius also sports thorny bands across his upper arms and wrists, and the stylized shadow of the dragon's head beneath his left eye, blowing black flamed across the bridge of his nose. Zhicius is rather fond of marking himself.
As far as attire is concerned, Zhicius wears what's practical. Loose leggings and tunics suit him just fine. But, being the High Priest of Cassimir, he does allow himself to be 'dressed up' in ceremonial robes and colors. Most of his wardrobe consists of deep reds, blacks, greys, and white. On the battle field, Zhicius will wear whatever he deems appropriate for the weather, but never goes to war without being properly armored and donning his Lord's symbol.
Many a cadet has made the mistake of calling their general 'paranoid', but Zhicius is no such thing. He's extremely observant, and some of his observations have led him to be overcautious, but, once again, he's ready to do away with anyone who shows signs of betrayal towards him. Zhicius is always wary of oncoming trouble or treachery, and constantly keeps a vigilant eye on his own army, as well as news of outside happenings. Very little gets past him, which is one of the many qualities that has led him to be such a great asset to the army's battles. His strategies are impeccable, if not nearly infallible.
Pleasure is not part of Zhicius' vocabulary, lest it be the pleasure received from vanquishing foes. Zhicius extremely sacrificing, and spends more time training and disciplining himself than anything else. His rigorous schedule has allowed him to become skilled in the art of many weapons. Zhicius' preferred has always been the battle ax, but he is most skilled with a broad sword. He is also fairly adept with the mace and crossbow, and could probably use other weapons adequately if pressed. Being trained by the Lord of Destruction has certainly helped his skills along as well.
