Peony has all the airs and appearance of a storybook princess, perfectly groomed at all times with trend setting hair styles and fashionable accessories when required. She has great ambitions for earning rank and power in Homewood by dedicating herself to healing Vykeli. She is pragmatic and risk-taking, willing to venture out into places unknown or accept deals that may not come to fruition if they offer her a chance at reaching her goals.

Despite her desire to see Vykeli Flourish, Peony is notably xenophobic toward other magic-using species, specifically dire rats and predators. She sees no reason for them to remain in Homewood. Homewood belongs to the noulicorns and their helpful familiars. Everyone else should etch out their own existence elsewhere. Where she acquired this attitude is a mystery, as both of her parents are extremely friendly toward dire rats. Perhaps Peony has been hanging out with the wrong sorts.
