Personality
Dolkianic has a powerful personality, that is as likely to get her into trouble as it is to get her out of it. She's quick to act, often brash, and rushes into situations without a concrete plan. She absolutely despises asking for aid and will get herself tangled up in perilous scenarios to futilely save her pride. Whenever possible, Dolki prefers to figure things out on her own through trial and error. She isn't bothered by her own failures - they're all opportunities to grow and learn, after all.While Dolki is eager to learn from her mistakes, she abhors the idea of sharing them. She keeps her past transgressions close to her chest, terrified of anyone finding out about her failures. She's a prideful young dragonborn and wants to be perceived as competent and heroic.
Setting out on her own to become part of a team was a difficult endeavor and Dolki has to make a conscious effort to include her party in her thoughts. It's an uphill battle for her, but she's nothing if not stubborn. Change is difficult, but Dolki doesn't mind putting in hard work.
Dolki believes strongly in fighting for those who cannot fight for themselves. She will stare down the depths of danger without flinching if it means keeping someone safe.
Background
Dolki is the youngest of three siblings born to a modest merchant family. When Dolki was quite young, her parents were killed in a raid on their hometown.Now orphaned, Dolki and her siblings were brought to the local monastery to be raised. They had few possessions to bring with them, but Dolki kept a little hand-sown doll her mother made for her.
Dolki had a fairly average childhood. She was outgoing enough to attract many friends and thrived in the monestary. Her siblings didn't manage quite as well; her oldest brother, Kerkad, ran away from the monks and began a life of petty crime. The middle sibling, Kiirith, chose to study and work toward a trade, and joined an artisan guild as soon as they reached adulthood.
Dolki chose to remain with the monks, learning martial arts and self-discipline.
On her 17th birthday she was given the opportunity to do a pilgrimage with a group of adventurers, to better her skills and learn more about the world. Dolki eagerly accepted the offer.
During her first adventure, Dolki misplaced her mother's doll during a raid in kobold tunnels. She's been trying to find the doll ever since and is particularly hostile toward kobolds because of this.
